Random thoughts of change

I am just in awe of life and love and pain and how all of it is necessary. I am in a time of flux. I left one job and now will be embarking on two very different ones. It was hard and painful to make the decision to leave a job I had been at for 10 years. I now have some amazing opportunities before me. In my first job I will be able to be at my children's school as a 3rd grade aid. This is exciting because I will get mini snapshots of their life there, while staying far enough away as to not intrude. I will also get to work with kids, something I really do love, at an amazing school run by an amazing woman. So I am super excited for that to begin next week hopefully. I am also embarking on a new endeavor at my church. I have been tasked with making our elementary services at 9am and 11am, more.... We are doing good now, but are stale and stagnant in our process. I feel we could be more exciting, more impactful and show kids what Jesus' truth is, much better than we are currently doing. I want this to be a place of creativity and safety for these little ones to learn and explore and meet Jesus. I do not want them to just learn steps and ideas and memorize without the why of it. Why should they care about Jesus? Why do we care about Jesus? Most importantly why do we and especially Jesus care so much about them. So I am on a mission, a God led mission to reach and teach these kids, in fun and exciting ways so they can know Jesus and be able to share Him with their friends and family and communities! Here is to new starts and and exciting journeys!!
